For those who missed the notice in last Thursday's eGov monitor Events Express, the Local eGovernment Standards Body has announced a series of regional conferences which will focus on the practical implementation of local eGovernment and highlight some of the leading work currently taking place.
The roadshows, being held over September and October, are aimed at local authority practitioners including Heads of eGovernment, modernisation, customer and corporate services, those with responsibility for communication, IT/IS, information management, BVPI or IEG, as well as private sector suppliers or potential suppliers.
These timely events will feature workshops and presentations on specific areas including the Local eGovernment Standards Body, the LAWs National Project, LGOL-Net, the ESD T%l kit and CRM National Programme.
