September 22nd sees the launch of eGovernment-Vision.TV, the internet television channel to support the local authority community.
The programme series, produced in association with the IDeA, SOLACE, Socitm and the ODPM is aimed at senior executives, chief executives, heads of services and ICT and elected council members across UK local government. eGov monitor is editorial partner and advisor for the eGovernment-Vision.tv channel.
The launch programme, 'Delivering 2005' will feature a keynote interview with Local eGovernment Minister Phil Hope on progress and support towards the 2005 target, with a series of executive panel debates chaired by IDeA, SOLACE, Socitm and SOCPO on subjects crucial to their membership. The programme has a major focus on Citizen Relationship Management with expert panel discussions and field reports demonstrating many notable successes.

Commenting on the launch of eGovernment-Vision.TV, Minister for Local eGovernment Phil Hope said: "Local authorities are achieving some encouraging successes in the local e-Government programme but it is vital that these successes can be shared to help all local authorities achieve the 2005 target. This unique initiative from eGovernment-Vision.TV will provide an effective medium for sharing best practice, enabling local authorities to learn from the progress made in areas such as National Projects."
