Forthcoming new research to set to reveal how public sector website fare in dealing with the most common problems raised by clients of Citizens Advice Bureaux.
Local government ICT body Socitm announced today details of a study carried during August and September whose results will be published next month.
Researchers examined the quality, relevance and usefulness of websites from a range of central and local government bodies in providing answers to common questions across 10 different subject categories.
Its findings are expected to offer new insights into the quality of eGovernment services in complex areas, such as benefits, debt, employment and personal relationship breakdown, and the role of intermediaries in the effective delivery of e-services.
