Online Message Alerts for Local Planning Applications

Residents in Wandsworth can now keep track of their planning applications at the touch of a button.

People who register their details at 
www.wandsworth.gov.uk/planning can also choose to receive alerts either by email or post when a new application is submitted in their area. The email alerts include an internet link to the relevant pages of the Council's planning register, where members of the public can view drawings of the application online, study other aspects of the scheme and then comment on them if they wish.

The new alerts system is the latest eGovernment service to be provided by Wandsworth Borough Council whose e-planning service, developed with i-documentsystems, was granted Pathfinder status in 2001 by the Government.
